THE UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN'S FUND (UNICEF)
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), originally known as the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children and mothers in countries that had been devastated by World War II.
The UNICEF Supply Division is a strategic programmatic and development platform that enables governments and other partners to leverage UNICEF’s procurement scale and expertise in order to meet essential supply needs, until national public or private supply systems can fully perform this role. The Supply Division has engineered a solar photovoltaic (PV) energy systems at various scales of deployment with standard kits ranging in size from 4kWp to 50kWp.
